The man behind Mcitys
Mcitys is a digital portal and agency that promotes the art of French artist Yves-Léonardo Marchon. He is passionate about painting, photography, literature, travel and web development.
Regarding painting, watercolor is his favorite technique and he has been practicing it since the age of 13. His Latin origins are found everywhere in his work, through landscape paintings representing Portugal, Spain and Greece. For him, art is a way to travel, to escape, to discover new horizons.
Yves-Léonardo likes to work with light, color and games of graphics and textures.
His paintings are very often taken from photographs taken by the artist himself.
Independently of his activity as a painter, Yves-Léonardo created a publishing house dedicated to literature and travel.
The writing of a cultural guide to the Greek island of Folégandros is in progress. It will be published by Mcitys editions.
